With a degree in Sports Psychology from California State University, Long Beach, over a decade of experience in the golf industry, and a background as both a college athlete and coach, I’ve come to believe that there’s a lot more to golf than hitting a good shot.
Golf is a physical game, but it’s also mental, emotional, social, and, for some, even spiritual. It asks us to navigate the environment around us, the people we play alongside, the expectations we carry, and the thoughts and emotions that follow us from one shot to the next. The golf course has a way of revealing all of it.
That’s why my approach goes beyond swing mechanics. I believe becoming a better golfer means developing the whole player.
Beginners
For a beginner, that might mean building a reliable swing and gaining the confidence to take it onto the course.
Competitive players
For a competitive player, it might mean learning to manage emotions, navigate adversity, and stay composed when the outcome comes down to a handful of shots.
Experienced golfers
And for an experienced golfer, it might mean recognizing how life away from the course influences performance on it.
Every player is in a different season of development, and every player brings a different set of strengths, challenges, and goals. My job is to meet you where you are, help you understand what your game needs, and walk alongside you as you grow.

Through my work in player development, high school coaching, First Tee, and competitive golf, I’ve had the opportunity to see the game from many different perspectives. Those experiences have shaped my belief that lasting improvement comes from more than perfecting a swing. It comes from developing the person swinging the club.

The Whole Golf Coach is about finding wholeness to find the hole. It’s a journey toward becoming not just a better golfer, but a more complete player—on the course and beyond it.
Because golf is more than a swing.
And becoming a better golfer can be about so much more than golf.
